Our Name
The name Heftos is inspired by Hephaestus, the God of fire, metals and metallurgy in Greek mythology. “Ethos” is a word of Greek origin and means character and ethics. “Heft” comes from the English language, meaning lifting and/or carrying.
The brand symbol represents the movement of a hammer hitting the forge, conveying heat and energy. It focuses on the act of forging, directly referring to the company's purpose: building with excellence. It also represents the nucleus of the Earth, magma, reinforcing raw and natural grandeur.

Corporate Structure
Heftos has over 45 years of experience in Maintenance and Construction and Assembly (C&M) activities in industrial units in the oil and gas sector. The company has already operated on more than 70% of the Brazilian offshore oil platforms, as well as refineries and other onshore units. Since December 2021, it has been part of Grupo Azevedo & Travassos, the only publicly traded heavy construction group in Brazil. A pioneer in the performance of services for the Offshore sector in Brazil, Macaé is our 91,000 m² support base, right next to the interstate highway, near the Petrobras port terminal and the port of Macaé, having 3,500 m² of offices, 1,500 m² of factories and 3,000 m² of warehouses.
